As of making this post, I am on ch 5 of this cozy mystery. Takes place in a bakeshop in Oregon and honestly, it's turning out to be a good starting place for the cozy mystery genre. My voyage begins~~

book commentary 003 ☆ the mirror season

As of this post, I am on ch 3 of the book. It's already more somber than the other two books I'm reading. But not in a bad way. Considering the subject matter, I'm glad the tone already feels right.

book commentary 004 ☆ the thursday murder club

Started this one due to the hold that was placed on it, so it has no renewals as of Oct 6th. Gonna try to see if I can finish it before then.

Tho this goes against what I have been trying to do for the sake of my ADHD and read only one book at a time! I guess the bright side is if I need a break from one book, I can go to another. Because I know sometimes I drag my feet on books if it feels like a lull to get through.

Who knows, maybe using this journal to keep track of things will help with that.

ANYWAY, so far this book gives me Vicar of Dibley vibes with four people in a lil English village meeting up to talk about murder and crime. It's already very funny. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. I'm already on ch 3!
