As of making this post, I am on ch 5 of this cozy mystery. Takes place in a bakeshop in Oregon and honestly, it's turning out to be a good starting place for the cozy mystery genre. My voyage begins~~

At ch 5 I've now gotten to the murder having happened. Got through the set-up ch.s pretty quickly and that was nice. It means I must be into it to have done it that fast, since I'm stupid slow normally.

The dialogue reads well, the characters don't feel forced but organic in the setting, and all the descriptions of baking/cooking are both well done and make me a bit hungry.

So, so far, so good. I hope I can keep this energy with it and enjoy it more as I go.
